The Story behind EverAfter

The EverAfter Story... Once upon a time, in the land of EverAfter there was a woman named Cynthia who fell down a flight of stairs, her world forever changed. Now there was this dragon to slay named Traumatic Brain Injury. 

 

She spent many long hard years relearning to take care of her self. She struggled to even make instant oatmeal. With a nervous heart she made a sourdough starter and named him Max . Her new friend was the first thing she had been charged to take care of. He gave her purpose for she had to keep him alive, yikes! Her confidence began to grow as a new joy and hope emerged. 

 

Cynthia soon discovered the dragon wasn't her foe, but rather a friend. Although some senses and abilities had been dulled, or even taken away, she realized that God used this dragon to impart magical new gifts such as pairing flavors and creating recipes. She now had a new quest to bake the world a better place. 

 

Her life is a miracle and wonder of Gods goodness. There is great joy, thankfulness and hope in everything she creates. She forages harvests and grows most of her own ingredients. 

 

Her cottage bakery journey is her brain injury, ongoing healing adventure with Jesus. Step into the Story and experience the flavors of the EverAfter world and you too can live happily EverAfter...
